Getting started with FM
I need emergency service.
We consider fire, floods, elevator breakdowns, service alarms, chemical spills, leaks, and security problems involving faulty exterior door locks or closures to be an emergency.
These types of problems should be called in to a Service Desk Dispatcher at (312) 996-7511.
Dispatchers are on duty from 7:20 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday. After hours, an Operating Engineer, or the UIC Police will answer calls.
I want to request service or report a problem.
Faculty and Staff are invited to input requests using our on-line service request system called "FMWeb".
FMWeb offers many enhancements for University staff and is the preferred method for submitting requests.
